A number of other environment actions are scheduled or under way:

• Procedures for achieving ISO 14001 certification

• Elimination of asbestos risks at network plants

• Transition to biofuel (based on a mixture of wood, straw and peat) at the VE2 CHP plant, for generation of green electricity

• Lower consumption of chemical reagents (salts, acids and bases) used for water demineralization
